This Saturday is the Job Fair- Be as Prepared as Possible with These Tips!
We're excited for the Job Fair this Saturday and all of the opportunites that will be available to our attendees. We want to see you succeed in your trucking career. For this Saturday's job fair, be prepared by following these helpful tips:
1. Dress Code: Casual, no suits are required. We definitely recommend wearing a collared polo or button-down shirt. Jeans are fine, but if you want to make an impression, maybe kick it up a notch by wearing a pair of khakis or chino pants.
2. Resumes: Bring mulitple copies to hand out to the companies that will be at the Job Fair- keep in mind that there are currently 42 companies confirmed to attend. Make sure you have the most updated version of your resume before printing it.
3. Credentials, etc.: Make sure you bring mulitple copies of your license and other documentation that employers may ask for and/or increase your chance of getting hired (eg. certificates, awards, driver abstracts, etc.).
4. Writing Utensils: Most of the companies attending WILL have applications for you to fill out , so make sure you have a working pen..or maybe two.
